I’ve been involved in music for most of my life, starting with voice lessons in elementary school and joining choir in sixth grade. I picked up guitar at 15, and from there music started becoming a much bigger part of my life. Over the years I’ve sung in choirs both in and outside of school, played in bands, fronted a rock band, performed in jazz ensembles, and spent about a decade playing local bars, restaurants, events, and other venues.
I graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2025 with a degree in Music Education, studying voice as a baritone and performing with both choral and jazz ensembles during my time there. Since then, I’ve worked as a high school music educator and as a private studio teacher at Encore Music Academy in Franklin. Teaching has become just as important to me as performing, and I enjoy finding ways to make music understandable and useful for each individual student.
Outside of teaching, I continue to work as a performer, songwriter, and recording musician. My experience ranges from original singer-songwriter music and rock to jazz bass and classical voice, and I’ve been hired to perform as a vocalist, guitarist, and bassist. I’ve never really wanted to limit myself to one side of music, I enjoy being able to teach it, perform it, write it, record it, and keep finding new ways to be involved with it.
